Nuevos talentos como Lena Dunham se han inspirado en Nora para forjar su propio camino .

Con el Nora Ephron Prize, Tribeca Film Festival planea no sólo honrar a esta mujer increíble, sino también, inspirar a una nueva generación de realizadoras. Durante 2013, se llevó a cabo la primera entrega del premio, resultando ganadora Meera Menon, escritora y directora, por su obra Farah Goes Bang. Para ejemplificar el espíritu y la visión de Ephron , Menon recibió el premio de $ 25.000 dólares , con el apoyo de Vogue.com .
